Environment :

  • MacOS : Monterey 12.6
  • Safari : 16.0
  • 1password : 8.9.8
  • 1password for Safari extension : 2.4.1
On some websites the 1password for Safari extension manages to fill in user/password combos correctly. example https://www.mediapart.fr/login
On some websites I see a bubble indicating that the extension "knows" that I have a password but I do not know which gesture I am supposed to perform to get this bubble to actually autofill my password. For example on https://www.washingtonpost.com/subscribe/signin/index.html?next_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.washingtonpost.com I see a bubble from 1password but I do not know whether there is a key combination or a gesture to make the username or the password entered on the web form ? or is it a bug ?

I managed to fix my own problem. The reason for this behavior is that I had not authorized 1password in System Preferences / Security and Privacy / Allow this app to control your computer.
