Update in Windows fails and rolls back

in Desktop betas (Mac, Windows, and Linux)

I've had a long-running problem with the beta on Windows where it wants to upgrade to the latest 1Password beta but it fails, giving me the message: "1Password was unable to complete installation and will roll back any changes". Sometimes if I exit the program and end any stray tasks it helps, but other times not, like now.
