Autofill Behavior

The new Autofill option to match exact domains does not work.

I have two logins which I have set to "Only fill on this exact domain"
https://mydomain.com
https://vps.mydomain.com:12345

Both still show up for both urls


1Password Version: 8.9.11
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: macOS
Browser:_ Firefox

  • @mtissington, have you installed the beta version of the browser extension? This new feature requires that to be installed in order to work. If you’ve got both the desktop and the browser betas and it’s still not working, we can do some troubleshooting to figure it out.

    Just download the beta build for your browser from here:
    Download the 1Password browser extension beta

    If the link is not working correctly, you have to scroll to the bottom of the page. 😉

    I'm using latest 1Password TestFlight beta (macOS 13.x), version 8.9.9, and it's not honoring the settings for autofill behavior. I've made sure my browser extensions are beta and updated (excluding Safari, which is an app via the App Store, but I wish the beta was available).

  • @nimvio we are working on implementing the new algorithm and autofill options on iOS and Android, but that's a long way out still. Over time you should start seeing the apps align their suggestions with the Desktop app, but we can't yet provide a timeline for when that'll happen.
