CLI keeps dismissing login prompt

I'm using 1Password CLI 2.12.0 on MacOS Ventura 13.1 connected to my 1Password Mac app.

I use this setup in a closed Macbook with TouchID connected to a monitor, so the TouchID is never accessible. I have Apple Watch auth enabled in my app.

That said whenever I start my computer and try to do any command with the CLI I get this error:

authorization prompt dismissed, please try again

The Watch/TouchID prompt shows for a second and dismisses itself.

The only way around this is to open my Macbook and use TouchID instead of my password or watch.

Is there any way around this?

I'm having the same problem. It's a hassle, but when needed, I open my MacBook then run the CLI command which insists on the fingerprint...

Hey! Apologies for the late reply. We are aware of some issues that can be caused when an Apple Watch is being used. We are investigating the problems. We'll report back when there is progress on this.
