Safari extension update delay?

I run Ventura 13.1 and the latest 1P safari extension. If I change a PW in 1P website or phone, I don't seem to see the change in the extension until I relaunch safari (or maybe I just got impatient and didn't wait a while). Is there an expected change push delay, and what would happen if I change on website AND the extension, before the push updating is done?
