Is there a way to force a sync of all vault items on Android?

Looking for a way to refresh my mobile Android 1Password client. I've noticed that sometimes new item(s) sometimes do not appear on the mobile app for quite some time. Usually, I have to exit and restart the app to force a sync. Is there a way to refresh the info on the mobile client? I know that other clients provided a pull-down option (drag down with finger from main page) to refresh the info displayed on the client. Where would I do this in 1Password?

    Hi fbrownnc, thanks for your question.

    1Password 8 for Android should be syncing regularly in the background as well as when any changes are made. Other than fully exiting and reopening 1Password for Android there is not a manual sync option.

    As you mentioned some recurring sync issues I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Android device and send it to the 1Password support team so we can take a look for any errors:

      Would be good to have a pull to refresh or something, as the assumption of background syncs on a "whenever" basis being sufficient is not true, particularly in the case of newly created items being needed immediately.

        We generally find that if one of the 1Password apps isn't syncing relatively quickly after an item is changed or added elsewhere, the root cause can often be something (like a network issue on either device) that would also prevent a manual sync from completing successfully. So while a pull-to-refresh option would be a handy convenience, it may not fully address delays if there's something else going on.

        Do you regularly run into a noticeable delay before newly created/edited items appear, or do you usually need to fully close and reopen the app to see them? And when this happens, is it in a specific situation, for example right after creating an item on a specific device or on 1Password.com?

        If this is happening consistently, let us know - we'd be happy to help troubleshoot further.
