Trying to disable autolock on 32bit WIndows

I just migrated my wife and I over from Lastpass. I was able to install the windows app on my pc and disable autolock. But my wifes pc is 32bit so 1password8 will not install. Both are Win10
Is there any other way to fully disable autolock? My wife is upset she has to enter the long main password... I have the chrome extension set to the max 300 minutes.. but that isnt near enough.
Is there anyway I can disable this for her?
thanks
Herb

Hi hmeyerowitz! On behalf of my colleague Jermaine, you're very welcome. Let us know if you run into any trouble, or have any further questions 😄

  • Hello hmeyerowitz,

    Thanks for writing in.

    You mentioned

If you are using 1Password in the browser, to disable the auto lock follow these steps:

    1. Right click on the 1Password icon in the toolbar.
    2. Click on Settings.
    3. Make sure Integrate with 1Password app is toggled off. (This is to make sure you see the security settings for 1Password in the browser)
    4. Toggle Automatically lock 1Password to off position.

Note: Even with this option off, 1Password will still automatically lock if you quit the browser.

See this guide on how to Manage auto-lock in the 1Password extension.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Jermaine
