Upgraded 1pasword Mac App today. It is found that the browser cannot connect to the App. After checking, I found that the path in NativeMessagingHosts is thanks to a MacOS. Normal after manual deletion

1Password Version: 8.9.14
Extension Version: 2.6.1
OS Version: 13.1 (22C65)
Browser:_ Edge Canary

I'm facing this issue ever since I upgraded to the latest version. Not sure when they'll release a fix but here is a Raycast Script Command you can use for temporarily fixing the issue as you described and simplify the process without having to manually edit the JSON file. Just run the command called "Enable 1Password Browser Integration" whenever you restart 1Password app. Also make sure the directory where you save the script should be added under Raycast Script Commands as shown as in the screenshot.
Hopefully, the team releases a fix soon!

  • Hey @SeanWang,

It seems like you may have been running into an issue we have just published a fix for in 1Password for Mac 8.9.15. Can you check your 1Password app is up to date and then let us know if you are still having trouble?

    Apologies for the disruption!
