Hello @AJorge,
Thanks for message and sharing your concerns. While we do offer the ability to use 1Password as an authenticator for sites with two-factor authentication, we do not recommend do this when turning on two-factor authentication for your 1Password account.
This second guide notes:
Although 1Password can be used to store one-time passwords for other services where you use two-factor authentication, it’s important to use a different authenticator app to store the authentication codes for your 1Password account. Storing them in 1Password would be like putting the key to a safe inside the safe itself.
Using 1Password for OTPs for other websites comes with the advantage of being able to automatically fill those codes without the need of another device or app: Use your one-time password
I hope this information helps, but if you need further assistance, just let us know. We'll be here for you.
