The 1Password Android app is not filling the username (email address) field when logging into the Octopus Energy app.
The password field populates ok but always leave the email address empty.
It works fine if logging into the web on the phone and also fine on the PC.
It's just the Octopus Android app is the issue.

  • Thanks for reporting this app @DickieD. I've done some testing with the Octopus Energy app and I'm seeing the same behavior. I've gone ahead and reported this to the team.

In addition to copying and pasting or just typing out your email you can use split screen mode to drag and drop your credentials.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help with at the moment!

Unfortunately the Octopus App also does not allow splitting, so can't do that.
Fortunately though, my keyboard now remembers the email address for me ,so I can select it from there.

Hey @DickieD, thank you for testing out split screen mode and confirming it does not work for the Octopus app. Our development team is always working on improving the Autofill experience, so hopefully we'll be able to see an enhancement with this app soon!
