How do I recover an account if I use 1Password for email?

I am new to 1Password and am exploring account recovery for Families. The docs say 1Password will send an account recovery email. But what if I use 1Password to store the password of my email account? Seems like chicken and egg. Is there an alternate way to recover an account?

For a 1Password account to be recovered, one will need access to the email associated with the 1Password account. In this case, the best option would be to write your email's password on a piece of paper and store it in a safe place similar to that of the Emergency Kit.
