PLEASE, when will this be a thing? Coming from Bitwarden this is a major pain point...

Hi @luckman212, thanks for letting us know how important this is for you! I've shared your feedback with our Product team.
I don't currently have any information to share about if or when this type of feature will be implemented, but you can keep an eye on our release notes to stay up to date with future changes: 1Password Releases

I want to +1 this as well. The text is also confusing with the "default" chip on the first entry. Having the "default" chip on the "Fill Anywhere" entry signifies that it can be changed, or at least that's how I interpret it.
I work for a huge retailer in the U.S. and all of our internal apps (thousands) are prefixed via sub-domain... so for a ton of apps with custom auth, it is extremely tedious to either change this setting for each entry or scroll through tons of filter results on autofill.

same here - Really love that you all added the functionality to allow user to set the URL's "to only fill on this exact domain" (and it works great, when you manually set it) - however we def. need the ability to enable this as the default for all new entries , and ideally a way to mass select existing entries and change them to ""to only fill on this exact domain"
Currently ive been going through my existing 1pw entries one by one and changing to this setting for most of them, but with nearly 3000 1pw entries a faster way is needed.
thanks!

Hi @isedunovas! Thanks for adding your +1 here - I've passed this along to the team ๐

+1 for me! Business account of 40 people, all of the IT would prefer to set "only fill on this exact domain" as default behaviour.

Agreed - that feature is a must ๐
Secondly: it should be possible user-side, without write permissions on a given vault, to set "Only fill on this exact domain" as default. Just for myself, without changing behavior for everyone...

Hi @fex01, thanks for sharing that feedback! I've passed it along to our Product team for further consideration.

Bumping this thread, as I am still hoping this will be feature after originally requesting 18 months ago ๐
Love the product, but being able to set the default autofill behaviour would save so much time for my company.

More than one year since this thread started. Is there any news on this feature?
It shouldn't be too hard to decide if this will or will not be something that's going to be added? We're building websites. We have a lot of different URL's on our staging-domain (like customer.our-staging.com). We set every login for our staging sites to the second option for auto-fill, because there are a lot of subdomains on the main domain. It would be a very welcome addition if we could set it to default.
It can be company-wide, or even just as a personal setting.

+1 from me. Can we have an update please?

I've shared your request with the team as well. When, and if, this is implemented you'll see it mentioned in our release notes. ๐

+1 from me, this feature would be an incredibly useful feature. I would personally be happy to pay extra for this benefit with the amount of time it would save and at my company I know that this would be an extremely popular feature.
I truly hope this feature gets developed and doesn't just stay at the bottom of 1Password's dev backlog forever ๐
