synchronization problem when 2 factor auth is turned on
I'm new to 1Password and I've installed the Windows app, the browser extension and the iPhone app.
I imported all my passwords from LastPass.
I turned on 2 factor authentication with Authy.
As soon as I turned on 2 factor, my Windows app no longer updated with changes I made on the iOS app or on the website.
Changes I made in the Windows app did not propagate to either the iOS app or the website.
With 2 factor turned on, I can't create, edit or delete vaults in the Windows app
When I turn off 2 factor everything works and synchronizes fine.
Also - now when I go into a new website and set up a new account, the 1password icon appears and displays a new password, but will not fill the field with the generated password. 1Password won't save new items if I fill it in manually. This is the same with 2 factor on and 2 factor off.
This means that I can't use 1Passwords on Windows to create new passwords in new accounts - which is sort of the idea of using 1Password.
Everything worked fine until I imported from LastPass and turned on 2 factor (I did these back to back - so can't tell if one or the other (or neither) caused the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks - Richard Hansen

Latest update: I decided to try removing the chrome browser app and re-installing it.
The 1password extension now does not work at all - I click on it and it's says "syncing" then "open 1password" and "syncing again" and then "open 1password" over and over
The 1password icon in the chrome bar has a little lock on it. The right click menu lets me get to settings but that's it.
1password no longer works in chrome which means I can't log in anywhere because all my long passwords are in it.0 -
Hello @Rhansen,
Thanks for your message. Following your latest update, could you try disabling app integration in 1Password in the browser? Does the chrome extension allow you to sign in with your account password after turning off this option?
1. Open your browser, right-click the 1Password icon in the address bar, and choose Settings.
2. Under the General heading, disable Integrate with 1Password app. With regard to the 1Password 8 for Windows, after you open and unlock this with your account password, are you seeing an offline indicator near the top of the window? When 2fa for your 1Password account is activated, does clicking the offline indicator request a 2fa code?
Looking forward to your reply.
