"Password" category filter not working
Hello! I am really enjoying my trial with 1Password and I really love what you have done with the look and feel of it. I just adore the aesthetics and it's so nice and easy to use too. I also love all the incredible features and hidden tools which I seem to discover every day!
OK, now for the issue. I used the "Password" category to create an entry for just a password. A while later I used the filter option to find this entry by going to filters and choosing "Passwords" nothing showed up in the results. I then put the filter to "All Categories" and I found it. I created another entry called "test" just to see what would happen and neither this, nor the original item show up in the category. The only filters they show in are "All Categories" and "Logins" All other categories and filters work as expected.

Hello, thanks for your reply.
Yes, I did include a username! thank you for clarifying that, although it seems rather counter intuitive and pointless having a "Password" category which turns into a login category with the addition of a username. I could understand if a URL was added too - then you would have all the hallmarks of a "login" but not for password/username combo IMHO
I actually use the password category for my iOS app logins, which are typically just a passcode and in some cases a username too. I didn't use the logins category since there's no URL per say. I thought about using a secure note for the scenario mentioned but I seem to recall reading somewhere that 1Password doesn't autofill from secure notes.

Hi @TOWS, thanks for providing the details on your use case here! In general, the Password category was intended for any password or code that doesn't have an email address or username associated with it, for example padlock or locker combinations, or local device passwords. However I can definitely understand how this could be counter intuitive.
Categories serve as more of an initial item template - if you've been using the Passwords category to help you locate your iOS app logins, you may find it helpful to give all of these items a matching tag and locate them that way instead:
At the moment 1Password uses just a few categories to fill various form types - these are Logins and Passwords (sign-in forms), Credit Cards (credit card forms) and Identities (name, address, phone number etc). As such, you're correct that you wouldn't be able to fill from a Secure Note.
