Hello,

We used 1password for a few months. Before enabling SCIM user provisioning with Google Workspace, we had probably a dozen users in 1password account.
Today we configured user provisioning. We created one general group in Google Workspace and added there all employees from our Google Workspace account. The accounts of these employees were synced with our 1password account. It works well, but looks like we don't need user provisioning anymore(we want to go with Okta). So we wonder if there is any way to remove the SCIM integration, remove Google Workspace without recreating accounts in 1password?

  • Hi @rooleek

Glad to hear you gave a try to our Google Workspace SCIM integration. Now that you wish to setup with Okta, you can turn off user provisioning from "Integrations" page by switch against "Provisioning users & groups", and then clicking "Deactivate Provisioning" will remove previously setup Google Workspace integration.

Now setup SCIM integration with Okta by following these instructions. You can then have your users/groups imported in Okta directory provided they are exactly same as existed in Google Workspace. You will see your users and groups synced from Okta without being recreated in 1Password.

Feel free to reach us if you have any more questions.
