1Password7 vs 1Password APP

I have both versions downloaded on my phone, but can't tell which is the more current version, and if I should delete the other version.

    If you have no need for 1Password 7 I would recommend uninstalling it in favor of 1Password 8 "1Password" Please confirm you are using 1Password 8. Assuming you are here are what the two versions look like side by side.

    To be safe before removing 1Password 7 please take the following safeguards.

    • Make sure all of your data is available on https://my.1password.com and ensure you have a copy of your 🚒 Emergency Kit along with your password.

      Double-check that all data is present on 1Password.com. If you've been offline and you've made changes you could lose data if it is not on 1Password.com. This would include updates to items you've made.

    Alternatively, you can also off-load the 1Password 7 app which would leave any data on the device that it created. It would be protected as always by your password.

    1. Open Settings and tap General.
    2. Tap iPhone Storage and give it a while to load.
    3. From the list of apps, tap the app you want to offload.
    4. Tap Offload App and confirm.
