When you sign in on the same WiFi network as your primary device, you can authenticate using FaceID to unlock your desktop client of your 1Password similar to having an Apple Watch paired with your iCloud Account.

You can pair your iOS device to your Desktop Client Version for a certain duration of time (1-4 hours) to allow you to unlock the desktop client without needing to input characters through the keyboard.

  • Hello @keanu! 👋

It's not currently possible to unlock 1Password on your Mac using Face ID on your iPhone. However, you can turn on Touch ID unlock for 1Password on your Mac:

Use Touch ID to unlock 1Password on your Mac

Can you clarify your post a little further? Are you submitting a feature request that we add the ability to unlock 1Password on your Mac using Face ID on your iPhone in the future?
