Export File (.1pux): Archived and Trashed Items

The description of the 1Password export file format describes a “state” item attribute containing these values: “active indicates the normal state of an item. archived and trashed indicate that the item was archived or deleted respectively.”

Yet, it appears that the export file only contains items where state=”active” – i.e., “archived” and “trashed” items are absent. Is this an inadvertent omission in the export file?

    Thank you for reporting this. This looks like a mistake in our documentation and I've filed an issue with our technical writing team so that we can get this corrected. The two types of items that can currently be exported in a 1PUX file are:

    • Active items
    • Archived items

    Deleted items are not exported. Let me know if you have any questions. 🙂
