Running the 1Password Installer to upgrade from 7 to 8.

Running the 1Password Installer to upgrade from 7 to 8. Stuck on the first window where it says, "Waiting for data to be moved. Don't quit this app." Nothing has happened for twenty minutes. Just stuck. What should I do?

    Considering that window has been stuck there for a while, you can safely quit it. Then, open 1Password 7 again and look to see if you have a Primary vault showing in the sidebar.

    If you have a Primary vault, you should migrate its contents to your 1Password account (if you haven't already), then delete the Primary vault so that the 1Password 8 installer doesn't try migrating it again.

    If you don't have a Primary vault, and everything is showing in your 1Password.com vault(s), you can quit 1Password 7 completely and run the 1Password 8 installer again.
