How can I disable cookies for (require secret key EVERY log in)

Community Member

I don't really like how my browser remembers that I logged in previously and doesn't require a secret key for a second login attempt to Is there a way to disable this? I'd rather have to enter my secret key every time for more security. I know I could disable cookies in the browser, but I'd need to do that for every browser for every device I might use, which I'm not super keen on doing. thanks for a great product!

    Hello @rb_cav1! 👋

It sounds like you might be looking for the "This is a public or shared computer" option which you'll find near the bottom of the login form when you log in to your 1Password account on (in the browser, not the app):

Checking this option whenever you log in to will prevent your browser from storing your Secret Key for easy login. I hope that helps! 🙂
