Count of items in Categories/Tags? Remove Group By when Sorting?
I'm now using 1Password8 and there are some slight annoyances with the new UI.
How do I get a count of items in my Categories and Tags?
How do I remove the Group By when sorting? meaning, I sort by Name, but I don't want the categorization A, B, C, etc.
Please advise.

Instead of just showing the counts next to the items they belong to someone at AgileBits decided to hide the count within the sort button above the list and add the count at the very end of the list of elements. They were quite a few complaints about this but sadly AgileBits insists on its barely usable approach.

As viswiz mentioned, you can find the item count at the bottom of a list of items or by clicking on the Sort button which looks like this:

The section headings can't be removed and are meant to to increase the readability and scrollability of a list of items. That being said, I've passed along your feedback to the product team so that they can see if an option can be provided in the future to disable the headings.

Thanks. Unfortunate there isn’t the simple count of items on the side bar like 1P7

Sanity check to make sure I have the right data. Also I continually groom my 1P and try to reduce my digital footprint hence I want to keep seeing the total numbers
