2 years agoI can't see 1Password for Safari yet it thinks it's installed
Very frustrated as I might simply reinstall the extension but all it does is launch. Not sure how to resolve this.

I don't see 1Password for Safari listed under Safari > Preferences so I tried Troubleshooting, followed by Fix Missing Safari Extension and that did the trick. Thanks so much!

Hey @philq,
If you open Safari and in the top left hand corner next to the Apple choose Safari > Settings (or Preferences) and then click on the Extensions tab, do you see 1Password for Safari listed here?
If not, can you give these steps a try:
- Make sure you are running the latest version of 1Password 8 for Mac.
- Open 1Password 8 for Mac.
- Click the Help menu and choose Troubleshooting, followed by Fix Missing Safari Extension.
- This will rebuild the launch services database and allow you to enable 1Password under Safari > Settings/Preferences > Extensions.
Let us know how you get on!
