Question on using 1Password as my two-factor app

for most of my accounts, I have 1Password generate the one-time-password for 2FA logins. I find the auto-fill feature to be very convenient. But, I worry that I might have all my security eggs in one basket by storing my passwords and 2FA access in a single app. Not that it would happen, but if there were some sort of data breach and 1Password logins got exposed, would that compromise the 2FA aspect as well, or is that specifically tied to my iPhone? I know the odds of this happening are very small, but the consequences would be huge, and maybe it would be safer to keep my 2FA in a separate app?

Your 2fa codes stored within 1Password would be exposed along with your other login details. It's not tied to your iPhone. That's the point of the 1Password cloud sync: every item is available on every device you own where you install 1Password. No item is bound exclusively to some device.
