Is the Device in Passkeys, your actual device or 1Password?
So I noticed that Google seems to be inconsistant when it comes to Passkeys and it got me wondering. Does Google store the private key on the device itself, instead of treating 1password as the device? If this was the case, I could understand where the issues are arising with trying to login on Google with passkeys.
I had thought originally 1Password was taking the place of the "Device", can this be confirmed?

Hello @TataruTaru! 👋
When you use 1Password to save a passkey that passkey is stored in 1Password and is protected using the same encryption and security that protects your existing passwords and other items.
By storing passkeys in 1Password, those passkeys are backed up to your 1Password account and are available to be used on all of your devices. You can read more about how passkeys work here: What are Passkeys?
I see that you're discussing the specific issue that you're running into with your Google account in another thread, let's continue the conversation about that there.
