We update our Estate Binder annually and it is stored in our lawyer's vault - in case we both die at the same time. Is there any way to print out the list in hard copy for this purpose?

    Hi @HumphreyKJ,

    There currently is no way to print the data within 1Password 8, and so you would need to export - exporting your data is not something we recommend as exported data files are not encrypted.

    There are two disadvantages to exporting your data:

    Your 1Password information is dynamic, with passwords frequently being added, changed, and deleted. To keep a printed copy up to date, it would need to be reprinted frequently. This greatly increases the possibility of losing or having outdated information.

    Your 1Password information is encrypted, stored safely and securely. Once you print it, the protection 1Password offers you is greatly reduced.

    Instead of exporting your data, we recommend printing your Emergency Kit, filling in your account password, and keeping it in a safe place, so that you and any designated loved ones have on-demand access to your 1Password information.

    With that said, we do allow exporting at any time via the 1Password app for Mac or Windows: How to export data from 1Password.
