I'm unable to sign-in again after creating a test account
I'm attempting to use the sign up link sent in the email for testing passkeys. When I reach the step to add my vault or create a new one, tapping on my vault doesn't do anything. I thought I would test creating a new one and trying to add my existing vault after the fact but I don't see a way to do so. Now when I try to start the flow over, I get an error that an account with that email address already exists (makes sense, in hindsight I shouldn't have created a new one).
I should have read the announcement post in the forum, not just the email.
I am unable to sign back in after closing and reopening the app though.

Hey @taurean
To confirm the state you're currently in: are you able to unlock 1Password on the iPhone you originally set up your passkey account on?
Please try opening this address in Safari:
onepassword://diagnostics
(as if it were a web page you wanted to visit)That should prompt 1Password to generate a diagnostic report. Please send that report to
support+passkeys@1password.com
, and include a link to this forum thread:https://1password.community/discussion/141374/im-unable-to-sign-in-again-after-creating-a-test-account#latest
. That'll help us connect the dots. 😃Thanks!

Same, creating the account according to the instructions in the email works fine. After switching to another app, the newly created test account is locked.
Trying to login with passkey on that account fails. Contact customer service.
All done on iPhone.
Side note: I used the same email account for the new TEST account as my primary account. Maybe that confuses the system? The primary account also already has a passkey setup as 2FA.

Yes. When you create your test 1Password account, you need to use an email address that isn't associated with an existing 1Password account.
If you're using Gmail, you can append
+something
to your email address. Any email sent to it will still come to the same inbox, and it'll work just fine for 1Password too. (As someone who has lots of test accounts, this is a lifesaver!) For example, email forwendy.appleseed+passkeytest@gmail.com
would still go towendy.appleseed@gmail.com
but as far as 1Password is concerned, they're different email addresses. If you're using Fastmail, you could generate a new Masked Email address to use for your test account.
Try signing up using a different email address and let me know if that helps. And if you want to delete your existing test account, you can do so: How to delete your 1Password account # Get help.

Thanks for your answer! Good to know as this was not directly clear to me, I have multiple email addresses I could use (or iCloud's hide my email feature).
Will go ahead and see if I can create a new test account

FYI I deleted my first test account and setup a new one with a different email address. This all worked as expected.
Also logged in 1password.com on a Macbook and was able to signin with the passkey after completing the device verification.
