How do I get apple watch to appear in Settings -> Security?
How do I get apple watch to appear in Settings -> Security. It's configured to unlock my Mac. When my Mac is asleep and I wake it, it says “Unlocking with Apple Watch…’. My watch vibrates and it opens the Mac.
When I open the 1Password app on the Mac, select Settings, then Security. There is no option for the Apple Watch. How do I get that to appear?
I have the latest 1Password app installed on my Watch.
I tried:
- Disabling the Watch on System Preferences
- Shutdown Mac
- Restart Watch
- Start Mac
- Enable Watch on System Preferences
- Put Mac To Sleep
- Wake Mac (watch unlocks it)
1Password Version: 8.10.8
Extension Version: 2.13.0
OS Version: Ventura 13.2.1

I'd recommend checking to see if the Mac meets the minimum requirements.

I think I’m good there. Minimum is Catalina 10.15 and I have Ventura 13.2

There are minimum device qualifications too.
Given the nature of how unlocking with Touch ID and Apple Watch works, 1Password relies on the Secure Enclave's security characteristics to safely store your secret information in a way that only 1Password can access. Apple Watch unlock is only supported on Macs that have a Secure Enclave. We feel the sensitive nature of storing your passwords and other essential information warrants using the additional security provided by the Secure Enclave.
