[Suggestion] remove the password from the clipboard immediately after pasting it.
Hello,
I notice that the 1Password app clears the clipboard after 90 seconds as per this setting:
Is it possible that you could create a setting that clears the password immediately after pasting it? I've been caught out a few times accidentally pasting the password copied from 1Password (usually for authenticating into a service that the app cannot see, e.g. VPN set up via Windows 11 settings) when I wanted to paste something else from my clipboard.
E.g. steps to reproduce this behaviour:
1. Have Windows 11 clipboard history enabled so you can Win key + V to pull up the clipboard history
2. Copy some text and some images into your clipboard
3. Copy a password from the 1Password vault
4. Paste that password somewhere
5. Open the service you want to paste those texts and images to (e.g. MS Word shared document, Jira ticket, etc).
6. Hit Win Key + V to view clipboard. Note that the password copied from 1Password does not appear here
7. Ctrl + V
Intended behaviour: paste the last text/image copied to clipboard in step 2
Actual behaviour: paste the password string in plain text from 1password
1Password Version: 1Password for Windows 8.10.9 (81009046)
Extension Version: 2.13.0
OS Version: Windows 11
Browser: Chrome
