Display of decimal numbers in Chrome Extension

Options

I noticed a small bug in the Chrome extension. If you add custom fields to any kind of entry and if the value of that custom field is a decimal, the chrome extension will display that information as a dotted quad IP4 address.

For example if I enter a value of 2071690107, the extension will display it as 123.123.123.123, a correct conversion of decimal to IPv4. Any number larger than the limit for IPv4 addressing is displayed as 255.255.255.255. In the extension, if you hover over and use the Copy button, it does correctly copy the value as the original decimal value.

This display conversion only happens if the value is a single decimal word with no non-decimal values.
