When will there be a way to disable the annoying autofill menu on iOS, it is driving me mad. I've had to disable the 1password Safari extension, but now 2FA codes aren't copied to the clipboard which is equally as annoying.

1Password Version: 8.10.9
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: iOS 16.6
Browser: Safari

  • Hi there @mowkerfuffle

2FA codes should be copied to the clipboard after you autofill using the "🔑 Passwords" button on the keyboard if the setting is turned on. Check the following:

    1. Open and unlock 1Password.
    2. Tap the account and collection chooser (the icon in the top-left corner) and choose Settings...
    3. In the AutoFill section, make sure that "Copy One-Time Passwords" is turned on.
    4. In the Notifications section, make sure that "One-Time Passwords" is turned on.

Then, check iOS's notification settings for 1Password in the Settings app > Notifications > 1Password, to make sure they're turned on.

Then, when you use the "🔑 Passwords" button on the keyboard to autofill, the one-time password will be automatically copied to the clipboard, and you'll see a notification to remind you.

There's more information about this feature here: Use 1Password as an authenticator for sites with two-factor authentication # Use your one-time password – If you aren't using Safari.

    Hope that helps! :)
