I believe I have similar questions / problems. I am in 1PWD via chrome, windows browser. There is NO option to preview any documents (uploaded as a document type) except picture formats (jpg, png, etc). PDF's or other documents only have a download option. I see a preview option when I'm in my iOS app but not when I'm on my computer. This seems very odd!! PLEASE HELP!

YES, PLEASE! I'm am using a family plan free trial and this may be a deal breaker if we can't have preview for the documents and we are required to download to see the document

    Hello @Catm! 👋

Welcome to 1Password! I've merged your comments together so that we can keep the conversation in one spot.

You can view documents by downloading them on your Windows PC after installing the 1Password for Windows app: Download 1Password for Windows

Let me know if that doesn't work. 🙂

    Dave -
Thank you. However, I also downloaded the app and there is no preview option here either - only download.

  • Hello @Catm,

Thanks for getting back to us.

The document preview feature is specific to the apps on supported platforms, 1Password for Mac, iOS, and Android.

Within the 1Password for Windows and Linux apps, downloading a document / attachment is the only available option. When downloading and reviewing important documents saved in 1Password, it will necessary delete those documents from your device when you are finished to keep secure in 1Password.

We have several requests to see a document preview feature make it's way to Windows and Linux. I've added your feedback for the Product team's review.

Let us know if you have any other suggestions we can help with.
