Cannot add account and signin on ubuntu server docker container

op --version

returns: 2.21.0

op account add --address abc.1password.com --email email@email.com --secret-key secret --signin

returns: 1Password CLI is now connected with the 1Password app. Add an account through the 1Password app.

op vault list

returns: [ERROR] 2023/09/06 21:07:32 connecting to desktop app: cannot connect to 1Password app, make sure it is running

This is running op cli in a docker container, no desktop app installed of course. I'm trying to signin using the cli.

Seems I cannot login and use the op cli on a headless ubuntu machine?
