Thanks for the heads up! I'm shocked it showed up so soon... hopefully future releases happen just as quickly.

  • XIII, Former Member,

Thank you for your patience, I suggest using the beta to use passkeys in the meantime.

Firefox is horrible when it comes to any plugin updates. Sometimes, they show up same day or a day/two later after release, to as long as 2-4 weeks after a release. There's no rhyme or reason as to why some plugin updates seem to get delayed for an extended period time.

I was running the beta, but installed the regular version after seeing the announcement.

Only then I detected it's an old version... Disappointing!

  • Hello XIII! πŸ‘‹

Thanks for the question! The submission and review process for each browser's web store is different and sometimes we're unable to time things exactly so that the latest version of 1Password in the browser is made available across all browsers at the same time.

Make sure to keep automatic updates turned on so that you receive the latest version as soon as it is available: How to keep 1Password up to date in your browser

Using the beta version of 1Password in the browser is another option. I hope that helps!
