Security key problem

I installed Safari 17.0 and it may have caused a problem using a Yubikey for two-factor authentication on the 1Password website. Removing the 1Password cookie to trigger 2FA yields a login process as before up unit the radio button selecting the 2FA method is clicked. After selecting "Security Key" and clicking "Continue", instead of being prompted to insert the key, I get dumped into MacOS Settings for Passwords, which I have turned off. So a process that was working isn't any more.

Not a problem, I can still get in using my authenticator app, but the Yubikey is no longer working. Any suggestions on resolving this?

Thank you

One more comment, a quick check of another website with Yubikey 2FA yields the same result. So Yubikeys and Safari 17.0 don't appear to play the same. Or could be an issue with the latest version of MacOS - I'm running Ventura 13.6.

    Hi @JAC3467,

Are you able to use a different browser? Does the same issue occur if so?
