Using 1Password with my wife?
Hi,
QUESTION: I'm looking at adding 1PW for myself and my wife. The question I have is this. Can we each have our own IDs/accounts for pws, but then share pws for accounts we might both access?
FOLLOW UP QUESTION: Can I add 1PW to virtually any device or browser? I use a Mac, iPhone, but Chrome on both. Can I essentially use 1PW for all? Are there any limitations to this?
Tyvm.

Hi there @lyphe416
I'll come to your questions individually for clarity.
Can we each have our own IDs/accounts for pws, but then share pws for accounts we might both access?
Yes – that's exactly how 1Password Families works. :)
You each have your own sign-in details (email address, Secret Key, and account password) and have your own
Private
vault, whose contents are only visible to you. There's also aShared
vault which can be read from and written to by all family members for items you want to share. If you haven't already, you can find instructions on how to add another family member here:
☞ Add and remove family members
Can I add 1PW to virtually any device or browser?
The 1Password apps are available for Mac, iOS, Windows, Android, and Linux and can be found here: Get the 1Password apps
The 1Password browser extension is officially supported in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, and Safari. The browser extension is only required on your computer, and not on mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones, or Android devices, since those devices' built-in autofill systems work with 1Password. You can find the 1Password browser extension here: 1Password – Downloads – Extension
If you would like any help in getting started with 1Password on any of your devices or in your browser, this section of the 1Password Support website might well be useful:

Please let me know if you have any questions, or would like any further help. :)
