If you use the integrated ssh file browser in dolphin 1password does not honor the SSH Agent trust I gave it.

  1. Enter url in dolphin like: fish://root@10.10.10.10/var/www
  2. Dolphin successfully handshake and the 1p popup for Key use shows
  3. I authenticate as always allowing it to use the according ssh key
  4. as soon as confirmed the auth dialog pop up again, I confirm again
  5. this continues about a dozend of times even if I click "allow for all application"

My Settings in 1password are:
Settings > Dev:
✔️ use SSH agent
Ask approval: application
Remember approval: until 1p quits
✔️ Display key names...
✔️ use rich approval
❌ use 1p CLI

Settings > Security:
✔️ Unlock using system auth service
Require Pass: Every 2 weeks
✔️ Lock when computer locks

I do have a Video captured of the thing and the Log file, which maybe helps, but is there any way to share it more privately because it contains some information I would not like to post fully public.

  • That doesn't sound right, you can send the logs and video to support@1password.com and we'll help you further from there.
