Cannot set up MFA on website that 1password doesn't know supports MFA

I am registering for an account on globalwellnesschallenge.com, which admittedly is a rather obscure website. However, even though globalwellnesschallenge.com supports MFA authentication using a QR code to set it up, 1password doesn't recognize that globalwellnesschallenge.com supports MFA and thus 1password cannot ingest this QR code.

Can 1password enable support for MFA on websites not known to 1password to allow MFA? Otherwise, it seems like I have to wait for 1password (and/or the folks at https://github.com/2factorauth/twofactorauth) to crawl the internet learning about every single website that supports MFA, which seems impossible.

OS Version: Mac OS 13.6.1

The 'Two-factor authentication' banner at the top of some items is just to help you set up 2FA quicker, you can always Edit an item, scroll to 'add more' and choose 'One-Time Password' - which adds a TOTP 2FA field to the item. From that you can use the QR code scan button, then save the item.

If 1Password recognises that the website supports 2FA: and you don't have a 'One-Time Password' field already present on the item, and you don't have it tagged with a '2FA' tag, and haven't ignored the watchtower reccomendation, then it shows that 'Two-factor authentication' watchtower banner at the top.
