Family membership prolongation via Apple cheaper
Hi,
I‘m using 1PW Families yearly based subscription from the Apple AppStore. During the last years I payed 62,99€ per year. If I check under my abos and click on „all available abos“ the yearly 1PW Family abo will be shown as 3€ cheaper for 59,99€.
What needs to be done, so that the automatic prolongation of the subscription will be executed with the cheaper price? Is it required to cancel the current subscription and after that choose the cheaper one?
Regards
Finke

Hi,
ok, I thought it is more a general question and not specific to my account.
But anyway I asked the same question via mail.Regards

Thank you, I don't see the email here on my end. Did you use a different email address than the one that you use for your forum account? If you post your Support ID here, it should look like [#ABC-12345-678], then I can make sure that it gets to the right team.
If you're already received a reply from one of my colleagues then you can ignore this post and continue the conversation in the email thread. 🙂

Hi @Dave_1P,
thanks for the reply. I already got an answer via mail. The first answer was a little bit confusing and it seems that my question has not been understood by the team. In the second mail they requested a screenshot, which I provided yesterday - I received a reply for that some minutes ago.
My question also does not contain sensitive or account related data, so that I‘m also confused why I cannot clarify it via this thread? Maybe other user have a similar question. Finally the issue is, that my current subscription via Apple shows a price of 62,99€. The current subscription in the AppStore is 3€ cheaper (59,99€). According to the last answer via mail, this price mismatch could be caused due to the migration from 1PW7 to 1PW8.
So my only question is: How could I switch to the cheaper subscription price after current subscription period? Should I cancel the current subscription and after subscribe again after the period ended?
Could I try this or is there some risk to loose data by cancelling the subscription?Would be great if you could help me out here.
Btw: That’s the mail support ID:#XAB-53183-512Regards

Thanks for the reply. Billing questions are best handled by the email support team since there might be peculiarities or specifics about your account, such as promotions applied in the past, that I can't see here on the public forum.
I do see that my colleague sent you a reply less than an hour ago, please reply to that email and the team can help further. To prevent having the same discussion take place in multiple places at once, I'm closing this thread. 🙂
