Support more special characters in secret references

in CLI
Hello,
This is a follow-up thread to the following closed task : https://1password.community/discussion/131700/regarding-the-syntax-of-secret-references-would-it-be-possible-to-support-more-special-characters
We are using special characters in our secret names, but can't read them using secret references using the CLI.
For example,
- We use
@
in email addresses - We use
:
in URLs/hostnames - We were planning to use an extra separator for our naming convention (we have a lot of secrets), but we are already using
-
,_
and.
in the secret names themselves. So we were thinking of using another special character (e.g.#
,$
,%
,;
,->
,?
) as separator or brackets (<>
,{}
,()
,[]
), but just now noticed these aren't compatible with secret references
All of these special characters are supported in the App, so I wonder why these can't be used in secret references.
Thanks a lot for looking into this!
