Hiding chrome extension on localhost doesn't work

I enabled hiding on localhost, but still see 1password suggestion on the page after page reload

I wasn't able to find anything resembling settings from this post
https://1password.community/discussion/10847/chrome-browser-extension-block-localhost

According to the more recent post https://1password.community/discussion/116485/disable-1passwordx-chrome-on-specific-domain-localhost-3000 , "hide on this page" should work but it doesn't as you can see on the screenshot

I need to disable 1password on localhost entirely and keep getting all suggestions on all other domains including continuing showing all icons inside form fields.

  • Hey @denai,

Currently there is no way to permanently hide 1Password on a page. The 'Hide in 1Password' setting will only remain for the duration of your session as you have described.

I understand how disabling 1Password on localhost would be useful to you and I have put in a request with our product team on your behalf to see if we can add this functionality in a future update.

In the meantime you can also quickly dismiss 1Password by hitting the ESC key on your keyboard or by clicking on the 1Password icon in a field.

    I hope this helps!
