Why use 1Password instead of Google Password Manager?

    If someone were to gain access to my google account, they would also have access to my 1Password passkey and with the passkey all of my stored data in 1Password. From a security standpoint, why wouldn't I simply utilize google password manager for storing my passwords and passkeys, saving myself the cost of the 1Password subscription? Am I missing something?

    Thank you for the question! With passkey unlock for 1Password, you'll need to confirm sign in on an existing trusted device after you authenticate using your passkey. This means that the passkey alone isn't enough to access your 1Password account on a new device. You can read more about the security of passkey unlock here:
