Unable to make 1Password 8 my default password manager

On iMac M3 Sonoma 14.2.1, if I go to Settings/Passwords/Password options I don't see 1Password as a choice to become my password manager. Same thing in Safari 17.2.1 if I go to Safari/Settings/Password, only iCloud is visible

Thanks for the question! 1Password doesn't use the setting that you referred to in your post and there's no need to add 1Password there. If you're not using iCloud Keychain then you can turn off "Autofill Passwords and Passkeys" from "Password Options".

To fill and save logins using 1Password in Safari and other apps make sure that you've:

Installed and setup 1Password for Safari: ‎1Password for Safari on the Mac App Store
Setup Universal Autofill: Use Universal Autofill in apps and browsers on your Mac
