Bug with Ignored Passkey Alerts in Watchtower

Behavior:

  • Credentials with ignored passkey alerts in Watchtower remain in the ignored alert list after adding a passkey.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Ignore passkey alert in Watchtower for a specific credential.
  2. Add a passkey to the credential.
  3. The credential remains in the ignored alerts list, but no alert appears, so it can't be removed from the ignored alert list.

    We are aware of situations where it's not possible to remove an item from the Ignored list, and our Development team are investigating. Do the steps listed in this discussion help?

    Hi Grey,

    Thanks! It appears that duplicating the entry and then deleting the original allowed me to remove them from the ignored alerts list.

    Surprised my keyword search didn't find the original posts you linked. Thanks for attaching those.

    I'm happy that the workaround helps. Hopefully we'll have a permanent fix out in a future update soon. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
