Bug Report: Pressing Tab key causes 1Password to lose/delete entered text

Often, but not always, when entering text into fields in 1Password Items, if I press the Tab key on my keyboard, 1Password will delete some or all of the text I just entered into the text field. I have observed this behavior on multiple PCs running the 1Password Windows desktop app.

Besides being annoying, this bug is concerning because I don't know how many times this might have happened that I didn't notice and thus permanently lost information I though I had entered into 1Password.

    Hello again @YellowVista,

Thanks for reporting this behaviour with tab deleting text you've entered and that you've experienced this across multiple Windows devices.

I've done some quick testing and couldn't reproduce this issue and have been able to locate any reports of a similar behaviour from other customers. While I understand this behaviour is intermittent, could you try to answer a couple so we can help to investigate this further?

    1. Is this recent or have you noticed this across multiple versions of 1Password? For example since before the latest update on January 23, 2024.
    2. Do you have any other types of devices that exhibit this behaviour? (Mac or Linux)
    3. Have you noticed and specific fields types you are editing where this behaviour occurs?
    4. If you find your able to reproduce this behaviour on a regular basis, could provide a detailed list of steps so we can file this the team for investigation?

I'm looking forward to your reply.
