Passkey on MacOS Terminal CLI?

I'm trying to use git via the MacOS Terminal to clone a remote repo at github. git doesn't allow password logins via the CLI any longer, and instead requires the passkey. I have a passkey setup in 1Password for GitHub's web interface, but the autofill seems to be supplying my password, not my passkey, as I'm unable to successfully authenticate. How can I pass the 1Password passkey to the Terminal prompt?

    Nevermind. I installed the git-credential-manager, ran the clone command again, and then authenticated through the browser.
