Temporarily turn off autofill prompt?

Most of the time, having 1P pop up an offer to fill in login credentials is exactly what I want.

But occasionally, I don't. Is there a way to temporarily disable this without having to open settings and drill down to find out where to turn it off and then have to reverse steps when I want to turn it on again? (BTW, I don't even know if what I'm showing in the screenshot is powered by the Brave/Chrome extension or the app itself somehow, such as the CMD-Shift-\ key combo)

  • Hey @camner,

You can quickly dismiss 1Password by hitting the ESC key on your keyboard or by clicking on the 1Password icon in a field.

Alternatively you can right click and choose 1Password > Hide on this page which will stop 1Password from appearing on that page for the duration of your session.

I hope this helps to achieve the behaviour you are looking for, let us know if you have any questions.
