Android is only offering google password manager passkeys.
I have tried this on 2 separate android phones, both pixel, both running android 14. I have a passkey and I open firefox browser and go to a passkey website. On my windows machine, it works fine, I can access the site. But when I use my android phone, it say that there is no passkey available, and I can see the google key icon, so I am supposing that it is not using 1Password. The trouble is that on both of my phones, it is set to use 1Password as the manager. And I have followed the advice to remove it and then set it back to 1Password.
Any ideas how to get android not to use googles password manager and instead use 1Password?

I was just digging and it appears that even though it specifically says passkey manager in Android 14, it actually doesn't work?

So after more searching I found a workaround on reddit. In chrome on android you can enter this into your browser:
chrome://flags/#web-authentication-android-credential-managementAnd - set it to google + 3rd party
Then you are able to use 1Password for passkeys but only on Chrome.
