Bug: LinkedIn passkey suggestion is broken

  • 1Password claims LinkedIn has passkey support
  • I click "Use passkey from the alert"
  • LinkedIn confirms page 1Password sends me to doesn't exist

    Thank you for reaching out and I'm sorry for the confusion. LinkedIn is currently rolling out support for saving and signing in with passkeys and not all accounts have access just yet.

    It looks like the link in question won't work unless your LinkedIn account has already been included in the rollout. My own LinkedIn account hasn't so the link doesn't work for me either. I agree that it's confusing to see a button that says "Use passkey" when your account isn't eligible yet and I've passed your experience along to the team.
