I would be surprised if anyone reading this does not know someone who has been phished, especially our parents/grandparents

or cocky 20 year software engineers that always tell their parents to watch the URLs they are on but that one time they don't they get taken for a ride like myself

To that end, I think a request for an optional feature to whitelist credit cards would be good for users and another sale point for 1Password's value add browser security.

When enabled, similar to how 1Password will not auto fill a login for a different domain, I would like to set the credit cards to only auto fill on sites I've whitelisted with a warning of "Warning! irs-contact-payments.com is not in your whitelist" or something.

1Password users who do not enable this will continue to have the existing functionality.

Perhaps there could be a prompt for "Would you like to add phishing4cards.ru to your trusted stores?" when you try to auto fill on a new site an an eventual quality of life feature.

There could also be a 1Password managed list of trusted vendors to encourage people to get started, like amazon.com, walmart.com, target.com, lowes.com, rei.com, etc or whatever the top x stores of each country are as another future enhancement.

Thanks for your consideration and for 1Password!

edit: oops, sorry this got posted in Families. I'm on a run of being a bad human

I've passed along your suggestions to our product team for further review. Thank you again for sharing the feedback!

Let me me know if you have any questions. 🙂
