Shared Vault between Business Accounts

Our company is looking to collaborate with a customer. Each has individual business accounts. Is there a method to share a vault between the 2 accounts/tenants, without causing one of the accounts to "invite" each individual user from the other business account?

It appears that when we invite via email, the account that initiates the invite is also eating a license under their account, so one of us is effectively "doubling" our licensing for the function.

A guest user is most likely what you are looking for. It would not take a spot on the team and the invited person will only have access to a single vault. There are a limited number of guest user spots available depending on your package.

Share with guests in your team

1Password Teams includes 5 guests. 1Password Business includes 20 guests. You can invite more guests for an additional cost. Learn more about 1Password pricing.

@ag_tommy LastPass does this very well allowing users to share items between enterprises whose users are already licensed keeping them synced without having to use up extra guest accounts, etc. This one of the main reasons we advocate against 1Password in Enterprises that collaborate... LastPass has it figured out and Microsoft has it figured out with Lighthouse.

Thanks wavesound I'll let the products team know this is something you'd like to see in the future.

For what it matters, I think this would be a great idea and another great sales point for resellers.
